Kaison Indigo Byrd, 19 years old, was born at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View in 1996. After living several years in the SF Bay Area and Central Oregon, he relocated to Los Banos in 2002. He moved to Hollister at the beginning of high school, but chose to return to Los Banos in order attend Pacheco High School during his Senior Year, graduating in 2014. Kaison worked in the fast food business since he was sixteen and was a member of the Youth Conservation Corp at the San Luis Wildlife Refuge. Although, his true passion was music and “making beats”, his true
gift was lighting even the darkest rooms with his abundance of selfless love, compassion, and
infectious humor.
Kaison is survived by his father, Johnny Byrd (LaRae Huston), and his mother Ixchelle Jurado Keldsen (Tim Keldsen); his siblings, Brittany Byrd and Sean Thomas; Grandparents: John and Linda Curtis, Suzan Byrd, and John Rea, Sr., but will be missed by all who have known him.
On Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos, there will be a visitation at 11:00 am and a Celebration of Life will begin at noon including an open forum for
anybody with the desire to share some of their favorite memories of Kai. Services are under the
direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.
