"Will miss Polly, she was so kind to me always. When we were little we used to get Mike & Jim's hand me downs. We loved them & even though they were boys clothes (great for David) I got some too for play clothes although they were always really too good for play clothes because they were much nicer then we were used to. They were my favorite. I remember once when I came home from school in Jr high & I was wearing a dress Polly was at our house visiting. She remarked on how cute I looked in a dress. No one ever told me that I was pretty or cute in anything but that day she made me feel good about myself and I never forgot it. She is probably the one reason I have any confidence in myself. She always had nice things to say, great things really because she was kind and thoughtful and very giving. I wish through the years we could have spent more time together. I know she loved her family, so very much with all her heart, she loved us all. Mike & Jim you had a great Mother, I had a great Aunt. She showed us all how kind words can make a huge difference in our lives. For me, it is her legacy, her kindness, giving nature and loving heart. I don't know anyone with a bigger heart. She is in heaven now with Sammy. I know she missed him so. I can picture the two of them smiling down on us all now. They were so great together. They had so much love for one another. This world lost a lot when we lost the two of them & Heaven just gained the best angels ever. May they rest in peace forever now together again."

"Pauline was one of a kind and will be missed by all who knew her. During Donnie's illness and subsequent passing she was very supportive.
She was the most energetic person I have ever met. She worked until nearly the end and was very proud of what her, Sammy, and the boys had accomplished.
Unfortunately, due to the weather and distance, I will not be able to attend the funeral, but I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.
