Grace Mello
March 23, 1925 - February 26, 2016

Grace A. Mello, 90, of Los Banos passed away February 26, 2016. Grace was born in Crows
Landing on March 23, 1925 and lived in Los Banos for over 70 years.
Grace spent most of her life as a loving and devoted homemaker, wife and mother. She worked for Masterangelo’s clothing store for a short time. Grace loved taking care of the yard.
She also participated in many catholic organizations such as the St. Joseph’s Altar Society,
UPPEC, SPRSI, YLI (past president), St. Joseph’s Parish, and Our Lady of Fatima School;
Grace was also a member of the Golden Agers and enjoyed all of the trips and activities.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph F. Mello; son, Joseph A. Mello; one brother and two sisters.
Grace is survived by her son, Edwin (Yvonne); 2 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, March 3, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, the rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m.; funeral mass at 10:00 a.m.; and burial will follow at the Los Banos District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the St. Joseph’s Altar Society or the Our Lady of Fatima School. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel~Los Banos,
