MacArthur Washington was born on July 19, 1953 in San Mateo, CA to Emily Johnson and Lee Wilson. MacArthur received most of his education in Redwood City, CA. and eventually graduated from Dos Palos High School in 1971. After high school, he attended Stanislaus State University where he majored in Political Science and pre-law. Although he never received his degree in law; he always acted as though he was his own attorney. MacArthur had a way with words... big words!
In the 80's MacArthur met and married Gwen only to lose her several years later.
MacArthur is preceded in death by his wife Gwen; his mother Emily Johnson; brothers: Charles Taylor, Frank Washington, Jimmy Jones, and his sister Beatrice Jones.
He leaves to cherish his memories a son Isaiah Washington of Los Banos, CA. and four stepdaughter from his union with Gwen; brother Eddie Ray Washington of Redwood City, CA; sisters: Exzetta Carbonel of Dos Palos, CA and Temi Washington of San Jose, CA and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, grandchildren and other relatives.
