Mary Frances Miranda

Mary Frances Miranda, 77, of Gustine passed away April 1, 2016 at home surrounded by family. She was born April 08, 1938 in Indio, California to Hugh and LaVerne Watkins.
Mary was passionate about gardening, her grandchildren, and her beloved great grandson. She was married to the love of her life, Charles, for 59 years until his recent passing in October. Together they raised their daughter, built a successful business, and enjoyed an inseparable companionship.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Miranda; her parents, Hugh and LaVerne Watkins; and a sister, JoAnn Brehm.
She is survived by her daughter, Carla Miranda Wyrick of Los Banos; granddaughter, Gina Wyrick of Los Banos; grandson, Michael Wyrick of Los Banos; great grandson, Anthony Costa of Los Banos; her beloved sister and her husband , Wanda and Tony Medeiros of Gustine; a sister-in-law, Inez Baty of Los Banos; and many nieces and nephews.
Services will begin with a rosary Tuesday, April 12th, 9:30am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Los Banos followed by a memorial mass at 10:00am. Interment will follow immediately at Los Banos Cemetery.
Contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, The American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
