Lois Nist, 83, passed away in Los Banos, Ca surrounded by her family. She lived in Sunnyvale,
Ca for 32 years before relocating to Los Banos, Ca, where she lived for the last 22 years. She retired from Pacific Telephone and Telegraph where she worked for 22 years. Lois enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The many memories they have of her are making popcorn, loving on her doggie Sheeba, playing bingo/casino and giving her great-grandkids rides on her scooter.
She is preceded in death by her 1st husband Samuel E. Brown,Sr., 2nd husband John R. Nist; her parents Albert and Edith Dufner; her sons, Samuel E. Brown, Jr.(Kathy), Richard C. Brown and her doggie Giget.
Lois is survived by her sons, William J. Brown and Terry L. Brown, Sr. (Margie Taylor); her daughters, Jeanne M. Pena (Jose N.) and Karole A. Harris (Ron L.); 17 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 27th at 1:00 pm at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel.
