Virginia Forte of Los Banos, CA passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 14, 1941, in Gustine, CA. In 1960, she married Joe Forte. They spent 52 years together raising cotton, hay, Angus cattle, and three children. She was passionate about spending time with her family and gardening. She loved to travel and made the best cioppino, linguia, and Easter pie in the world. Virginia was always very active: homecoming queen, class president, 4-H leader, bookkeeper, real estate agent, and catechism teacher. Virginia was preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary (Martin) and Manuel Menezes, her husband, Joe, her son Anthony, and her grandsons Matthew and Jimmy. She is survived by her loving friend, Harold, daughter Donna and son-in-law Doug, son John and daughter-in-law Mary, daughter-in-law Karen, 13 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren with more on the way. Services will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Los Banos, CA, on Friday, July 15th beginning with Rosary at 10:30 am, Mass at 11:00 am. Flowers welcome; Mom loved flowers.
