Irene Roberts, 83, passed away September 3, 2016. Mrs Irene (DeMedeiros) Roberts was born Aug 12, 1933 in Los Banos, CA. She married Richard Dean Roberts on Aug 24, 1951. Since Dean was part of the U S Navy, Irene and her 2 children were on a constant move. Irene work 3 yrs as a laundry worker with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Downey, Illinois. Settled in San Jose in 1970 and went to work for Valley Medical Center for 26 years. Retired in November of 1996.
Preceded in death by her husband Richard D. Roberts on Jul 15, 2005 and daughter Kathleen A. (Roberts) White on May 11, 2008.
She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Lynn (Roberts) Jensen and (Spouse) Ralph C. Jensen
two Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren.
On Monday, September 12, 2016 services will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel, 1840 S. Center Ave., Los Banos, CA. The visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m.; rosary will be recited at 11:00 a.m.; and services will begin at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Los Banos District Cemetery, 16575 S. Center Ave., Los Banos, CA.
