Katherine Ann Baughman a long time resident of Dos Palos, California passed away unexpected at her home on Friday, October 14, 2016. She was 67.
Katherine was born October 9, 1949 in Natchez, Mississippi the daughter of Sam and Nellie (Hammond) Marsh.
Katherine was a great homemaker and worked in agriculture in her younger years.
Her true joy was fishing and crabbing in the evenings as well as her newly discovered hobby Facebook. She loved Facebook because she was able to communicate with her children and grandchildren Katherine won’t miss her favorite shows on TV; The Price is Right and Survivors.
She was an amazing mother, grandmother and a great grandmother. She will be greatly missed and remembered fondly and lovingly by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters; Joyce Lambert, Jeanette Cuen, Cynthia Alvarado and Katherine Young, 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 11am to 1pm at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Dos Palos followed by the Funeral Service at 1 pm. Burial at the Dos Palos Cemetery District. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos.
