Concetta Marie Montemurro
February 11, 1930 - December 23, 2016
Concetta Marie Montemurro was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 11, 1930 to the late Antoinette and Ignazio Grimaldi.
She attended schools in Modesto and was married to the late Paul Montemurro in 1959 and has been a resident of Los Banos for 57 years.
She was preceded in death by her step-mother, Guiseppine Grimaldi.
She leaves 3 children, Paul (Jennifer) of Los Banos, Annette (Nicholas) of Fresno and Louis (Timothy) of San Francisco, and her grandchildren, Mason Montemurro, Lindsay Allwood, Colin Allwood, Courtney Allwood and William Montemurro.
She is also survived by sisters, JoAnne DeMattos and Margaret Fernandez, brothers, Frank Grimaldi and Peter Grimaldi, all of Modesto, sister-in-law, Marilyn Rowe of Madera and by many nieces and nephews.
Private services to be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on January 4, 2017, under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Heart Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
