In loving memory of

Virgil Lee Noel Jr.
June 10, 1940 - February 27, 2017

My dad, Virgil Noel was born in Oklahoma. He was part Choctaw Indian and he really enjoyed his heritage. He was a carpenter and was known as a very fast framer in the industry. He worked hard and also had a lot of fun in his life time. He loved to fish. He once caught a Catfish that weighed 67lb. He was a great storyteller. He would tell fascinating stories of his many escapades. His joke telling was always told with great timing and made you laugh. More than anything, he had a great heart. He was very sick before he died and at one point in his delirium, he said “Don’t worry Sissy, I will never forget you.” This brought me to tears, but also gave me comfort. I am so grateful for the time we spent together.

He loved his son, Vic, very much. He loved him and was proud of him no matter what. He also loved me, (Elizabeth Noel) his daughter, very much as well. He loved his grandkids: Savannah, Lila Lee, Nathan, and Bo (Virgil Lee Noel IV) very much. He loved his many relatives; Don, Nancy, Gary, Wayne (deceased), Lillie, Sherri, Julie, Jeffrey, Greg, Bev, Barbara, Danny, Shannon, Patty, John, Traci, Valerie, Keith, Sandy, Stacy, Mike and many more! He had a group of special friends; Billy Absher, Bradford and many more.

Special thanks to the girls at Los Banos Rehab for loving my dad; Gwen, Sara, Verna, Taylor, Ira, Myra, Theresa, Tanya, and all the other girls. Mr. K., my dad’s roommate, cared a lot about my dad. Dale, a previous roommate was one of my dad’s favorites. He greatly enjoyed Rosemary and I coming to visit him all the time.

May you rest in peace with your mom, Marie Tallant, your dad, Virgil Lee Noel Sr., your stepdad, Riley Tallant and your brother, Wayne Tallant. We miss you very much. Until we meet again. We love you dad!
