In loving memory of

Maxine Mary Young
October 7, 1923 - June 22, 2017

Maxine went to the Lord on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles and Josephine Greener. She was an only child and she graduated from Mercy Catholic High School around 1940. Maxine got married to her first husband Arnold H. Lotz. She had two boys, Arnold C. Lotz and Calvin G. Lotz.
Around 1948, she moved to Denver, Colorado and worked at Montgomery Wards as a Comptometer operator. She met her second husband, Evert W. Young and married him on April 24, 1952.
She enjoyed riding motorcycles, flying planes with Evert, diving her T-birds and later in life her Marks. Maxine could knit and crochet without really thinking about it. She has made enough Afghans and dollies to supply half the town with one. Her needle point pictures hang on all the walls of her house. Her hands were always busy. She always had a story to tell. She loved watching Nascar, Football and Golf.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Josephine Greener and her husband of 55 years, E.W. Young.
She is survived by her sons, Arnold and Calvin (Kim) Lotz, two grandsons, Charles and Theodore Thomas, a granddaughter Laura Lee, a great grandson Jeremiah C. Weik and many family and friends
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 9 to 10 am at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel of Los Banos , followed by the Funeral Service at 10. Burial at the Los Banos Cemetery District.
