Gabriel Locatelli
December 3, 1926 - July 31, 2017
Gabriel Locatelli, 90, passed away July 31, 2017 in Los Banos. Gabriel was a farmer since the 1940's and Dairyman. He sold the dairy in 1959 to concentrate on his true passion of diversified crop farming. He was a member of The Dos Palos Coop Gin Inc. and a charter member of B.P.O.E. Los Banos Chapter.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his parents John and Maria Locatelli; brothers: Elmo, Albert, Richard, Bertolo, and Herman Locatelli; sisters: Ida McEwen and Inez Schilber. He is survived by his wife Evelyn Locatelli; daughter, Gail Fosse; sons: Gabriel G. and John Locatelli; grandchildren: Adam & Scott Fosse, Nick Locatelli and Jennifer Dunwell; and great grandchildren: Ava, Sean, Shane, Evelyn Fosse, and Aiden Struve.
On Tuesday, August 8, 2017 a visitation will be held at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos beginning at 5:00 p.m.; at 7:00 p.m. the rosary will be recited. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church; burial will follow at the Los Banos District Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter and/or New Bethany. Services are under the direction of Whitehurst Funeral Chapels~Los Banos.
