Grover Edward Baker
February 19, 1926 - April 6, 2018
Grover E. Baker 92, of Clovis, CA passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 in Fresno, CA. He was born in Oklahoma and moved to Dos Palos at the age of 16 and remained there until 1993 when he moved to Friant/Clovis area.
He was a Navy Veteran, serving during World War II in the Philippines. Upon discharge, he settled back in Dos Palos. After retiring from Coleman Electric, his greatest joys were camping, fishing and spending time with his family. Grover was a kind and loving man who always had a smile for everyone. He will be terribly missed and remembered by his family and friends.
Grover is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dorothy and his three children: Ron (Cynthia) Baker, Larry (Shirley) Baker and Debora (Al) Andersen, three grandchildren: Nicole Nathan, Ashly Baker and Bradley Baker, brother Bill Baker and sister Elnore Anderson.
A Graveside Service will be held at the Dos Palos Cemetery District on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 2pm. Services are entrusted to Whitehurst Funeral Chapel-Dos Palos.
