"I appreciate your can do attitude and that's exactly what I will always remember you by. Your kind words, positive attitude, and friendly spirit. Working with you was a blessing. Even on your painful days your "Betty" (wife) would call to check on you and you would say you were doing good. You're thoughtfulness never went unnoticed. You touched so many people with your kind heart, and watching you live - was the best blessing. Every time you went to Hawaii you would make sure to let us girls in the office know you thought about us.Not to mention you would come back bragging and showing off the tattoos your wife and you would get. It was the most adorable thing to see how in love you still were with Teresa. WE LOVE and MISS YOU! I'm so thankful you aren't in pain anymore. You truly were one of a kind. Rest in peace our sweet hero."

"I only knew Curtis from Schemper's Ace in Ripon, where I work. He was always happy and never complained even when you could see he was not feeling well. Over the years he had his ups and downs and I always prayed he would beat this. I was told today of his passing. My prayers are with his family, who I know he loved very much. Treasure the memories. You, and evryone he touched, with his eternal positive attitude, are blessed. Curtis, you will he missed."
