"Lit a candle in memory of Hershel Bryan Holston"
Hershel Bryan Holston passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 10, 2018 in Hilmar, CA. He was born June 28, 1955, in Whittier, CA, to Hershel B. Holston and Mary Evon Stewart.
He graduated from Campbell High School in the spring of 1973 and he was the first of his family to achieve this accomplishment. He was a highly skilled Electrician for over 40 years and he had an excellent knack for solving problems. He was naturally athletic and he loved to ski the snow-capped mountains every winter season.
Bryan had an infectious personality and uncanny ability to put others at ease. He never met a stranger and made friends everywhere he went. He was known for his positive disposition and though he faced many challenges in his life he did not complain.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; brother, Bruce; his three sons, Ryan, Aaron and Jordan; his father and mother-in-law Rev. Jimmy and Bobbie Shoemake, brother-in-law Jonathan (wife Tasha) Shoemake, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Gayle Delmonico and Karen Derderian.
Family, friends and loved ones are invited to attend his Home Going Service at Revival Center, located at 825 7th Modesto, CA on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
"Lit a candle in memory of Hershel Bryan Holston"
"I am going to miss Bryans sense of humor. He liked to joke around just about every time I visited with him and Nanci. He had a nice way of making people feel comfortable around him. He also had a positive outlook on life. Hed always ask how my mother and son were doing. He cared and it showed! It was fun when we all were alot younger and could snow ski all day long. Those days are gone but Ill treasure the memories. Its hard to believe that he is no longer with us but happy he made it to his final destination!"
