Mary Alice Mendoza age,74, of Del Valle was called home by our Lord February 13, 2021.
She was born August 17,1946 in Austin, Tx to Trinidad and Frances Mendieta of Austin, Tx. Mary Alice Mendoza was a devout Catholic who attended St. Julia Church in Austin, Tx. She retired from Del Valle ISD, where worked in the food service department for over 25 years. It was there that she happily served many students within the community.
She was married to John S. Mendoza on September 9,1963. She was preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Frances Mendieta; her loving husband, John S. Mendoza, her sister, Gloria Mendieta and brother Eugene Mendieta.
Mary Alice is survived by her sons, Zeke Mendoza (Diana), John Mendoza (Marcie); Sisters, Janie Whitehead (Harold); brothers Zeke Mendieta (Patty), Edward Mendieta (Virginia); Grandchildren, Anthony Mendoza (Jennifer), Lauren Wray Hill,Jaqueline Mendoza, Benjamin Woods, Amanda Mendoza (Josh), Jules Mendoza; Great Grandchildren, Anthony, Christian, Edward,Jason, Emilyn, Presley.
Pallbearers will be Kris Whitehead, Zach Whitehead, Josh Dominguez , Daniel Moreno, David Moreno, Anthony Mendieta ; Honorable Pallbearers Anthony Mendoza Jr and Christian Mendoza
The family of Mary Alice Mendoza would like to give a special thank you to South Austin Medical Center for taking such loving care of her during the last moments of her life.
