Peggy Ann Carbajal
May 16, 1960 - February 22, 2021

Peggy Ann Carbajal, age 60, of Dawsonville, GA, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021. She was born in 1960, to the late Willis and Mary Patrick. Peggy was a member of Holy Grounds Tabernacle in Dawsonville, GA. She was a sweet motherly soul, that had a huge impact on raising a whole community in one way or another. Peggy had an amazing personality and a contagious laugh. She could light up a room just with her presence. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren, and siblings. She will be missed dearly. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Dexter McBrayer, and grandchildren, Chloe, and Lucas McBrayer.

She is survived by her loving husband, Antonio Carbajal; children, Deanna McBrayer, David McBrayer, Derek (Tabitha) McBrayer, Miracle Suddeth, and Anna McBrayer; siblings, Michael (Rachel) Patrick, Rachel (Danny) Akins, and Homer Patrick; grandchildren, Daisy Nichols, Denver McBrayer, Hailey McBrayer, McCoy McBrayer, Davina McBrayer, Nathaniel McBrayer, Kylee McBrayer, Harmony Jones, Darius McBrayer, Destiny McBrayer, Deja McBrayer, Lyndon Suddeth, Layla Suddeth, Dayna McBrayer, Macie Smith, and Rylee Smith; brother-in-law, Jesus Carbajal, and step-daughter, Maria Carbajal; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Patrick, and Rev. Morris Patrick officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help off-set funeral expenses.

"My name is Bobbi and I worked with Peggy at big D?s BBQ and she was such a great person to be around, I worked with her almost everyday and even hung out with her at her home several times. We became great friends and got to know each other. She always made me laugh daily. She loved her family above everything, she was a great person, mom , wife and grandma, she was so loved and will be so missed. Her and her family are in my thoughts and the family are in my prayers."
