Ginger Jewel Rothman
January 1, 1951 - January 31, 2021

Ginger Jewel Rothman, from Anthem, Arizona, passed away on January 31st, 2021. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, she was born on January 1st, 1951 to Jay Wilson Vaughan and Freida Mae Vaughan and three years later was followed by her brother Robert Vaughan.

Shortly after graduating from Wichita State University, she was married to Michael Ronald Rothman in 1975. After moving to New Orleans, Louisiana by way of Connecticut, Iran, and Florida, their first son, Jay-Paul Michael Rothman, was born in 1979. After moving to Massachusetts, Jarrod Christian Rothman was born in 1982. A lifelong professional whose time and energy helped to provide a wonderful life for her family. Ginger was a warm and loving person who could brighten any room she entered and was a long-time dog and cat "Mom."

Ginger and Mike lived together in their warm and welcoming home in Anthem, Arizona since 2001. She had a love for reading, learning and experiencing everything life had to offer, a passion she passed to her two beautiful grandchildren, Jackson and Josslyn. She will be missed by her friends while attending concerts, playing bunco, visiting her home and sharing in get-togethers with family and friends.

There will be a viewing for friends and family to say their goodbyes on 12 February from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254. She will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on 15 February at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
