In loving memory of

Daniel Joseph Cash

Daniel Joseph Cash, 59, of Phoenix, AZ passed away on the evening of February 13, 2021 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, AZ of a cardiac arrest.

Dan was born in Garfield Heights, OH in 1961 to Harry and Audrey Cash and graduated from Benedictine High School in 1980 where he played football as an offensive lineman. He and his wife Diane opened a hair salon in Bainbridge, OH and in 1997 moved to Arizona where they owned and operated a limousine service and raised their two children Dana and Dalton.

Dan enjoyed spending time with his many friends, loved music (huge Rolling Stones fan), playing the harmonica, sports, card games and most of all being with his family.

He is survived by his daughter Dana and son Dalton; mother Audrey (Urban), former wife Diane, brothers Michael (Vicky) and Thomas (Phyllis). He was preceded in death by his late father Harry. Daniel was also an uncle to Harrison, Melissa, Andrew, Kevin and Alison and great-uncle to Lena.

Dan's jovial nature, love of storytelling, and compassion will live on in the hearts of all of those who knew him.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Ohio at a later date this summer. Memorial contributions may be made in his behalf by sending a check to Benedictine High School, 2900 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Cleveland, OH 44104.

"Dan was much more than a big brother to me - he was one of my best friends, a mentor and an idle in many respects. I am the youngest brother and I think I grew up as a quiet person because Dan would do most of the talking for me . . . he did love to talk! We will all miss his smile and his laugh and the way that he could get the attention of an entire room and make everyone else smile or laugh with him. He was a terrific brother and I am blessed that I got to share my life with him. He is the good company of many family members and friends now and I will look forward to when we will once again play some cards, basement wall-ball, backyard baseball/football/basketball, golf (I hope he gets some lessons there) or maybe drive across the country in a moving truck. Dan - we love you and will miss you . . . your little bro\' . . . #3 . . . Tom"
