Helen Grace Potts age 83, and lifelong resident of Cumming, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021. Helen was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Family was important to Helen and she enjoyed family gatherings and having the entire family present during the gatherings. She loved having her hair and nails done and enjoyed shopping. She was an avid braves and bulldog fan and enjoyed trips to the mountains and the beach.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Earl Potts, Sr.; parents, Clarence (Buck) and Janet Samples Gilbert; son, Ricky Tallant; sister, Mildred Gilbert Pruitt.
Helen is survived by her children, Barbara Pitts "Stephen" of Cumming, Donna Cruse "Leon" of Cumming, Karon Kalb of Cumming; grandchildren; great grandchildren; step-children, Sidney Potts, Jr "Angela" of Kingston, GA, Tammy Spencer "Niekolass" of Myrtle Beach, SC, Cindy Burgener "Shawn" of Greencastle, PA; and best friend, Sherry Cochran of Cumming.
The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, February 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Helen was cremated and no services will be scheduled.
