Catlyn Bon Barlow
January 4, 2002 - February 12, 2021

Catlyn Bon Barlow, age 19, of Golden, IL, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 in her home. She was born January 4, 2002 in Peoria, IL a daughter of Cathy Woodyard Barlow and Joseph Barlow.

Catlyn graduated from Camp Point Central High School in May 2020. She was an avid Central High School Panthers fan and especially loved football. She participated in the mini Central Panthers Cheer Camp and was a Junior Homecoming Attendant. She was also a proud participant in the Special Olympics. Catlyn loved babies, unicorns, cheeseburgers and ice cream. She was an enthusiastic fan of Carrie Underwood. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Golden.

Survivors include: her mother, Cathy Woodyard Barlow of Golden, IL; her father Joseph (Cassandra) Barlow of Bowen, IL; a sister Brooke Barlow of Golden, IL; a brother Johnny Barlow of Bowen, IL; her maternal grandmother Marilyn L. Foote of Quincy; paternal great grandmother Lucille Weaver of Macomb, IL; her paternal grandmother Mabel "Sue" Barlow of Golden, IL; Paternal grandparents John and Sheila Kroeschel of Barry, IL; 9 aunts and uncles, Ted (Sandy) Woodyard of Billings, MT, Danny (Barb) Woodyard of Fowler, IL, Mike (Charlotte) Woodyard of Franklin, IL, Bon Foote of Mt. Sterling, IL, Thomas "Mike" (Gail) of Clayton, IL, Lisa (Andy) Morrison of Quincy, Cathleen (Andrew) Strabala of Muenster, TX, Maureen (Chase) Gardner of Loraine, IL, Les (Sinificant other, Dawn)Barlow of Mechanicsville, VA; apaternal uncle Wyatt Kroeschel of Japan; and paternal great aunt Brenda Nelson of Addison, TX; as well as many other loving great aunts and uncles; paternal cousin Ethan Strode of Addison, TX; and many more loving cousins.

Catlyn was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Dale Woodyard and his wife Betty; maternal grandfather Bon T. Foote Sr.; maternal aunt Bonnie Foote and paternal grandfather David Barlow.

Catlyn's family would like to express a special thanks to St. Louis Children's Hospital, Shriner's Hospital in St. Louis, Central School District's faculty and staff, and Blessing Hospice. They would also like to thank their local community for all the loving support they have received.

Services: 11:00 am Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home with Rev. Patricia Reep and Rev. Jeff Corson Officiating. Please wear a face mask if you plan to attend.
