In loving memory of

Beatrice Berendsen

Beatrice (Bea) Berendsen was born on December 19, 1922, on a farm in Brillion, Wisconsin to Orville and Alvina Huebner. She went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2021. Although she was brought up to go to church, she never heard that she needed to be born again until she attended children's meetings at a tabernacle on Saturday afternoons. She made sure of her salvation when she was 13 years old. She was involved in church work from the time she was in her late teens. For many years, she sang in a trio and mixed quartet. They sang on the radio for their church program and also for the Salvation Army. They were invited to sing in other churches and for many weddings and other events. She played either the piano or organ for church services for many, many years. She taught primary age boys and girls in Sunday School until she moved to Ocala. She also directed adult and youth choirs. Bea enjoyed cooking and baking and entertaining other Christian couples. She and Fred were married for 58 years, when the Lord took him home on February 15, 2007. Bea is survived by a sister, Pearl Zimmer of Appleton, WI, and several nieces and nephews.
