Allie M. Black, 86, of Gwinn, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Eastwood Nursing Center in Negaunee.
Allie was born on June 9, 1934 in Black Mountain, NC. She became a permanent resident of Gwinn in 1974.
Allie was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Society in Gwinn as well as a volunteer driver for disabled veterans. She was an avid women's auxiliary member for the Gwinn VFW, previously serving as president, as well as the Little Lake American Legion.
Allie is survived by her children, Velma Amstuz of Salem, OR and Rodney Black of Gwinn; grandchildren, Laura, Cathy, David, Jennifer and Alan Jr.; and several great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Allie was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin L. Black on August 18, 2014; and her son, Alan Black in 2017.
At this time, no services will be held.
