Edna Rae Person joined her loved ones and her Heavenly Father on February 7, 2021.  Edna was born June 16, 1939 in Murray, Utah to Grace and Angus Earl Longson.  She was the fifth of five children.  Edna married the love of her life Paul "Pat" Oscar Person on January 27, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  They were sealed in the Provo Utah Temple on August 13, 1977.  Together they had six children, 13 grandchildren, 20+ great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

Edna loved to spend time with her family, there was always barbecues, holiday meals, and lots of camping.  Her and Pat love the mountains and the simple life the camper brought.  Edna dedicated her life to making sure her family was taken care of.  She showed each of them love and how to be strong.  She faced many health issues in her life, but she kept saying "I'll show you," and that is exactly what she did right up to the end.  Edna was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, she lived by her beliefs faithfully.

She is survived by Brenda (Fawn) Potter, Jim Person, Doug Person, Tony (Lydia) Person, and one special granddaughter Autumn Joy.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her spouse, daughter Paulann Person, son Randy, two sisters, two brothers, and grandson Kurt Person.

"Edna or Rae to most people was a loving family member and friend. I knew Rae personaly, as one of her many great grandchildren. Rae was a light in the darkness and the rainbow in the middle of a rainstorm, she knew how to make everyone smile. She lived a very crazy, but fullfilled life. I truly wish that she rests in peace, and is reunited with the family whom she lost during her life. May she rest in peace, always and forever. "
