Harrison Mablin, 60, of Dubuque, Iowa passed away on January 30, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa. Memorial services are pending.
Harrison C. Mablin was born 10-04-1960 to the late Francis and Harrison Mablin in Proctor Arkansas. He moved from West Memphis Arkansas to Chicago Illinois in 1984 in pursuit of a better life. He worked many jobs during his life. He welcomed a son Jermaine Richmond on June 6th 1984 with Vanessa Richmond. He met his life Partner Michelle Moon in Chicago Illinois in 1992. Michelle Moon had 2 children Kina moon and James Moon which he loved as his own. He had such a playful spirit, so full of life. Every one knew him as Lil Bruh/ Lil Bro. He enjoyed his television shows and having a beer. He was the youngest of 6 children. He leaves to cherish a son, Jermaine Richmond, 2 step children James and Kina Moon, 1 sister Lillie Bell Tillman, 1 brother Larry Ellis Mablin, 2 Nephews David Mablin and Benaiah Mablin, 8 nieces Vanessa Tillman-Johnson, Felicia Tillman, Cassandra Mablin, Melissa Tillman, Angela Mablin, Peggy Tillman-Russell, Jacqueline Mablin, and Billie Tillman also known as his real niece as he would say as a inside joke that he would say about all of his nieces when they did something he liked, and a host of great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother Francis Mablin, his Father Harrison C. Mablin, 2 sisters Rosie Monroe, and Carrie Willis, 1 brother Benny Mablin, 1 Niece Lillian Tillman, and his life partner Michelle Moon.
