In loving memory of

Phyllis A. Mandabach
February 4, 2021 - December 2, 2020

 Phyllis A Mandabach, age 81, of Vincennes formerly of Washington, went home to be with  our Lord Jesus Christ  at 4:57 PM on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.


She was born on July 19, 1939 in Bicknell, Indiana to Jesse and Mildred (Pickett) Sebring. She graduated from Bruceville High School in 1958 and was retired from North Slope Borough. Phyllis was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and American Business Women’s Association and was a past member of the Ladies of the Moose. She loved playing word puzzles and playing cards.  


Phyllis is survived by two sons and daughters in-law, Jesse David ‘JD’ and Denise Mandabach of Vincennes and Terry and Kate Mandabach of Fairbanks, Alaska; one sister, Nancy Lewis of Florida; six grandchildren Catrina Glass, Stanley Solomon, Celeste Mandabach, Cameron Ice, Bethany Ice, Devin Ice and one great-granddaughter Christa Jones.


Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Paul “Pete” Mandabach on April 19, 2011, whom she married on July 9, 1960; a daughter, Catherine “Cathy” (Kirkpatrick) Mandabach and her parents.


A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at St John Cemetery in Washington, Indiana with Pastor Travis Stamper officiating. She will be laid to rest next to Pete and Cathy.
