Frank Anthony Lobene
November 18, 1949 - February 2, 2021

ROCHESTER - Passed away on February 2, 2021. Frank has long been a pillar of the Rochester community. He is widely known and recognized for his 30 years of service as a firefighter, his prominence as a successful businessman, and decades of commitment to Rochester's youth athletic programs. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Duvilio & Pasqualina Lobene, son-in-law, Joseph Rizzo; also several loving cousins, aunts & uncles. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet (Violante) Lobene; children, Janaraha Rizzo, Frankie Lobene, Matthew (Stephanie Bean) Lobene, Adam (Eleni) Lobene, Daniel (Angela) Lobene & John (Christine) Lobene; beloved grandchildren, Noah, Lucas, Marie, Eviana, Gabriella, Joey, Matteo, Audrielle, Marco, Ryan & Luca; brothers & sisters, Susan(Joe) Montesano, Antonio Lobene, Virginia Lobene & Thomas Lobene; loving nieces, nephews & cousins.

Frank's life story will be shared during visitation Friday, February 12th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. His funeral service will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am at St. Pius The Tenth Church. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Mary Cariola Children's Center, 1000 Elmwood Ave # 100, Rochester, NY 14620, St Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or Golisano Children's Hospital, 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642 in Frank's memory.

"Frank... I have been in love with you since I was a little girl t...he day I laid eyes on you walking down otis street with your friends as an young teenager. I first laid eyes on you at the Rainbow resturant as an little girl that our great families owned...I remember playing skee ball in the restaurant together as little kids not knowing the beautiful life that was planned for us to one day meet again as teenagers and fall deeply in love. I will be forever grateful for the beautiful life and family that we were blessed with and raised together.
