Holly Ann Wagner
April 11, 1954 - January 30, 2021

Holly Ann Wagner, age 66, of Quincy, died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 11:30 pm in Blessing Hospital.

Holly was born April 11, 1954 in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford and Dorothy Kokta Martin. She married Gerard Wagner on December 27, 1975 in Carpentersville, IL. He survives.

Holly received her Bachelor's degree in English from University of Illinois in 1975. She had been employed by the Quincy Herald Whig as a reporter and as an editor for over 35 years. In her spare time, Holly enjoyed weaving and traveling.

In addition to her husband, Gerry, survivors include three children: Paul (Colleen) Wagner of Saint Louis, MO; Martin (Zuzana) Wagner of Prague, Czech Republic; and Dave (Kaitlyn Sullivan) Wagner of Colorado Springs, CO; two grandchildren, Clifford and Anna Wagner; seven siblings: Chris (Sue) Martin of Pekin, IL; Scott Martin of Sarasota, FL; Gary (Rita) Martin of Quincy; Dale (Bobbi) Martin of Elgin, IL; Ron (Jodi) Martin of Elgin, IL; Brian Martin of Houston, TX; and Mary (David) Mediema of Clearwater, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Holly was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Martin, mother, Dorothy Kokta, a sister, Julie Williams

Services: A celebration of Holly's life will be held at a later date.
