Greece: Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on February 5, 2017, at the age of 86. Predeceased by her husband, Pat V. Dinolfo, Esq.; parents, Marcel & Mary Isabel (Gomes) Freitas; brother, Louis Freitas and brother-in-law, Jack Seibold. Evelyn is survived by her loving children, Hon. Vincent M. (Cheryl) Dinolfo, Karen (Pat) Ercoli and Noel Dinolfo; grandchildren, Patrick (Callie), Russell and Jennifer Dinolfo; Marybeth, Ryan (Alicia), Christopher (Tessa) and Melissa Ercoli; great-grandchildren, Finley, Edith and Plum Dinolfo and Dustin, Gia and Jaxon Ercoli; sister, Arlene Freitas; brother, Larry (Kathleen) Freitas; brother-in-law, Norman (Delores) Dinolfo; sister-in-law, Joan Freitas; many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
The family expresses heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for their extraordinary and compassionate care. Ev's favorite joy was gathering her family to share in the wonderful meals that she created and opening her house to all.
Evelyn's visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-9 on Thursday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am on Friday at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road, Rochester NY 14626. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Hope Hall, 1612 Buffalo Rd, Rochester NY 14624 in Evelyn's memory.

Evelyn was born on September 5, 1930 in Rochester, NY to Marcel & Isabel Freitas. She grew up with three siblings, Louis, Arlene and her twin brother, Lawrence. Evelyn met her husband, Pat while she was a senior at Madison high school. They married and went on to adopt three children, Vincent, Karen and Noel. Evelyn and Pat were married for 56 years. The greatest days of her life was the time when they welcomed their three children into their home. Their children made Evelyn's life complete. Evelyn enjoyed traveling and her favorite vacation was a trip that she took with her family for her and her husband's 50th wedding anniversary. During her free time, she loved to cook, bake, and entertain family and friends at her home. Evelyn was a Rochester Rhinos soccer fan and was also a fan of the original Rochester Lancer soccer team. She also loved dancing and music, her favorite artist was Neil Diamond.
Evelyn was known for gathering her family to share in the wonderful meals she created. She always had a smile on her face and truly enjoyed spending time with the people she loved. Evelyn will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her many friends and family.
