February 11, 2007 at age 96. She is survived by her children, Erwin Nitzman, Jack (Darla) Nitzman, Paula (Terry) Downs; grandchildren whom she raised, Christine (David) Pettrone, Pamela (Michael) Fattore; grandchildren, Kelly (Steve) Brown, Mary Beth (David) Cohen, Kathleen (Curtis) Williamson, Laurie Stark, Michelle Miller, Lynette (Scott) Sackett; 21 great grandchildren.



History

Mary was a member of the Lady's Auxilary at Holy Family Church, Young At Heart, the Rosary Society, the Carmelite Society and an active member at the Northwest Rochester Senior Center. She was a religous and a very devoted catholic. She was giving and was very routine. She enjoyed crocheting and traveling, but most of all enjoyed her independance. Of all of her clubs that she was a part of she most enjoyed giving her time at the senior center.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Mary's visitation will be Wednesday February 14, 2007 from 4-8 PM. All are invited to attend Mary's Funeral Mass on Thursday at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Church (Ames St.). Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northwest Rochester Senior Center, 71 Parkway, Rochester, NY 14608 in Mary's Memory.
