Mary Ann grew up on AAB Street in Rochester, NY where she loved spending time with friends. In 1946, Mary Ann went to Jefferson High School. She was an excellent dancer. Mary Ann met Sonny as he delivered bread to her home. It was "love at first sight". Sonny drove Mary Ann back and forth to school.
Mary Ann was a secretary for the City School District. She ran a beauty shop out of her home, and she also worked for Eastman Kodak, Bausch Lomb and Haloid. She enjoyed all the holidays and cooking for her family. Some of her favorite activities included, golfing, playing Bridge, games of chance, and cooking. Mary Ann enjoyed cooking shows, loved listening to her husband, Sonny, and her son, David, play the piano, and she always enjoyed Broadway Music.
Family and friends would best describe Mary Ann as unique, always concerned about her families well-being, strong willed, intelligent, competitive, social, nurturing, someone who always confirmed what she was told, was sincere, honest, outspoken, meticulous, and forward thinking.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

"Mary Ann, you were always there for me when we worked together many years ago at #40 School. No matter how busy you were, your beautiful smile, twinkling eyes and words of wisdom led me through many of life's troubles and pleasures. So much came in that beautiful little package, Mary Ann."
Diane Piedici Paolini wrote on Dec 8, 2013:
""God Bless Mary Ann".....I find myself saying that for the past 37 years. I remember being a newlywed and doing laundry at my mom's house....desperately trying to fold my fitted sheets. Mary Ann was sitting there with my mom drinking coffee and chatting. I must have looked like I needed help because the next thing I knew Mary Ann was there showing me her "trick" of folding a fitted sheet. She gave me a hug and said something that stuck with me all these years, "every time you fold your sheets just say "God Bless Mary Ann"....needless to say, I've been blessing her ever since. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and a very special friend to my mom, Marge."
