Survived by

Greece: December 3, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer at age 60. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Pat; mother, Audrey, brother, Tom; sister, Barbara (Bruce) Fritsch; son, Michael (Nicole); daughter, Shirley (Dan) Coloney; grandchildren, Andrew, Joshua, Nicholas, Shelby, Jackson, Kacie, Chelsea Megan; nieces nephew, Chrissy, Kimberly, Sean.



History

Jim was a U.S. Air Force Veteran, honorably discharged in 1972 following service in Southeast Asia. He was a 30 year employee of Eastman Kodak where he worked as an electrician. Jim graduated from SUNY Canton in 2004, earned his certification as a veterinary technician, worked at several area animal hospitals, and was a pet training instructor. Jim was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fly fishing, and field trials with his Springer Spaniel companions Molly, Maggie, and Megan.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Jim's Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8 PM. All are invited to attend Jim's Funeral Mass on Friday at 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church (2400 Ridge Rd. West) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
