He is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years Marie "Mary" (Moscaritolo) Colavecchia; adoring children, Anne Marie (Michael) Beachel, Frank (Maureen) Colavecchia Lisa (Craig) Augostini; grandchildren, Jeff Colavecchia, Greg Colavecchia, Nicholas Augostini, Louis Augostini, Dave Beachel, Diane Beachel, Jennipher Beachel; brothers, John (Mae) Colavecchia of Buffalo, Frank (Anne) Colavecchia of Niagara Falls; brother-in-law Larry Irene; many nieces nephews.



History

Al loved his wife, children and his grandchildren. He was a supportive father grandfather and was always there coaching, cheering or lending a helping hand when needed. Al was an outspoken person. He enjoyed the outdoors, animals, card playing, bowling, fishing, golf, computers and dogs. He especially enjoyed Ball Room Dancing with his wife Marie. Al enjoyed cooking his homemade pastas and pizelles.

Services

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc., 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Al's visitation will be Sunday, February 4th, 1-5 PM. Al's Funeral Mass will be Celebrated Monday, February 5th, 9 AM at Holy Family Church, followed by AL's interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.



Additional Information

Al was an active member of a great many different organizations and lodges. He was a proud Veteran of the Air Force. His time served was during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post # 1457. Al was Past Commander of the Monroe County Council of the VFW. AL was an active parishoner at Holy Family Church. While there he acted as a Cantor and was ative in the Holy Family Men`s Club. AL was an active volunteer at the American Red Cross, Gates Lions Club and he served as a Board Member at the Westside YMCA. Al was a member of the Eagles Club and he was a cast member for the Foot Light Players.
