Maureen S. Gregor

Greece: Maureen passed away on November 18th, 2017 after a 6 year battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents Alice and Patrick Gregor and brother Kenneth. Survived by her wife Alvera Horak, daughter Allison, son-in-law David Plant , grandson Joshua Plant and sister Patricia Williams (Raymond) of Texas. Also survived by sister in laws and brother in laws -Margaret and Bill Adams, Charlotte and Ron Buckman, Ed and Millicent Horak and Doug and Lisa Horak, many nieces, nephews as well as her St. Mary's family.

Maureen had a strong faith in God, believed in angels and loved her family and friends. She was active in several ministries at St. Mary's Church and was involved in the Stained Glass Window Project. She enjoyed photography, ceramics, jewelry making, genealogy, cooking and entertaining.

Maureen's visiting hours will be 2-4 and 7-9 on Friday, November 24th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30am on Saturday at St. Mary's Church Downtown , 15 St. Mary's Place. Family and friends are invited to go directly to St. Mary's Church. Interment will be held privately at a later date.

Family wishes to thank the staff of the Wilmot Cancer Center, family, friends and caregivers for all their support and help throughout these years. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to St. Mary's Church Downtown or Journey Home.
