Greece: November 10, 2017. John went home to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his son, John J. Bonacci Jr; parents Vincent Rose Bonacci. John is survived by his best friend wife of 61 years, Theresa (Sammartino) Bonacci; sons, Vincent (Joanne) Bonacci Michael Bonacci; daughter-in-law, Shelley Bonacci; beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Jesse (Ashley), Renee Nicholas Bonacci; Carrie Chris Costello; sister, Gloria (James) Cambisi; brothers-in-law, Mannie Michael Sammartino; many loving nephews, nieces numerous friends who will miss his kindness and laughter. John was a retiree of Rochester Telephone Corp and a Korean War veteran.


John's visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Monday, November 13 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 AM on Tuesday at St.Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Rochester NY 14616. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Church or a charity of your choice.
