William Ouellette
July 23, 1951 - December 10, 2014

Greece: Suddenly on December 10, 2014 at age 63. Predeceased by parents, Renaud Lucille (Fournier) Ouellette; father-in-law, Victor A. DeSimon; brother-in-law, John W. DeSimon. Survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Libby" (DeSimon) Ouellette; children, Danielle (Dan Whitty) Ouellette, Michael Ouellette; mother-in-law, Lois K. DeSimon; siblings, Diane (Gerald) Taddeo, Richard (Cathleen) Ouellette, Joanne Bracken; brothers-in-law sisters-in-law, Linda (Dennis) Wentworth, Laura (Terry) Flynn, Sue (Greg) Hyatt, Terry (George) Grasley, Jim (Diane) DeSimon, Tom (Denise) DeSimon, Marge (Jim) Civitello; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins; Convenient coffee club; fellow Greece Central School District staff students.



Bill's visitation will be 1-5 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd) where his funeral service will also be held on Monday at 10 AM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Athena High School, 800 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14612 in Bill's memory.



Bill was born on July 23, 1951 in Lewiston, ME. He grew up in various places, such as, Connecticut, Florida, Maine and finally his family settled in Rochester, NY. During his youth he was on the track team at Bishop Kearney High School where he graduated from. As a teen he also drove an ice cream truck to earn money but he would lose money because he would give ice cream away to children who didn't have any money. After high school, Bill attended Monroe Community College where he earned his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts.

Bill then started working as a drywall contractor in 1975, where he had a partnership with his father Renaud and his brother Rich. Bill later became a security guard for Greece Central School District. Bill met his wife, Libby through the Rochester Crusaders Drum Bugle Corp, where he marched for years and trained Banner Line for Hilton Marching Band. Bill and Libby got married and had two children, Danielle and Michael. Bill's family was his passion and most important to him.

Bill liked to travel, he and his wife spent their honeymoon in Brazil and they also took trips to the Bahamas and Florida many times throughout the years. Bill loved Disney World, especially when sharing his vacation with his children as well as his nieces and nephews. Bill loved to laugh, retell funny stories and jokes and he really liked to make others around him laugh. Bill's favorite sports team was the Buffalo Bills. He also liked any team that his children or nieces and nephews played on. Bill's favorite songs were "It's a small world" and "Everybody wang chung tonight." He was a master at the "quiet game" with all of the kids. He really enjoyed spending time with his children and loved babies. If there was a baby at a gathering, he was always holding them and he would soothe them with his famous "wuzza wuzza" songs until they nodded off to sleep.

Bill was known to be generous, kind- hearted and sweet. His children and their activities was his first priority in life. He would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Bill would brighten a room with his sense of humor and big smile. Bill was loved by many family and friends and he will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
