"So sad to say goodbye to my mother in law. She was absolutely the best! I'm grateful for her friendship and guidance about raising a large family. My memories are many but I have to say a favorite one is with her and my mom in New York City for a wonderful fall weekend trip. We ate cheesecake and took a horse and carriage ride through Central Park. She was one special lady! I'm always going to miss her, but I believe she's in heaven with the love of her life, Gil, and my family. I'm sure they are all happy to be together again. ??"

"Grandma, Grandma, Grandma...I will definately miss having you around for my moment of truth went visiting home. I remember walking to the bowling alley, Faris, picking worms from apples under the front yard tree and playing with Sandy as a kid. We were always the last stop on the bus after school since your house was right next to the school, but then you had cinnamon toast and Saved By The Bell on the TV. I am glad you are with Grandpa now."

Beth Kunkel wrote on Feb 4, 2019:

"Grandma was one of a kind. She was intelligent and beautiful. I remember going on adventures with her; whether it was riding the train to Rocking Horse Ranch (and then just laughing when it broke down) or catching a movie at The Little, we always had the best time. I could talk to her for hours. She was never judgmental and always seemed to genuinely care about me and what was on my mind. Grandma always reminded me of the importance of keeping my faith. And perhaps most importantly, she taught all of us the importance of family. She blessed us with a big, crazy, fun, and loving family. I'm going to miss her more than words can say, but I'm so happy to be surrounded by this family. We have another angel looking out for us now. "

"Grandma was a Beautiful, and Wise Woman. I will always remember going to church and breakfast on sundays with her and how carefree and accepting of a person she was to conversate with. She is now at peace and will be missed greatly. Love you Grandma ??"

"I am so blessed to have seen the family my grandma created. 9 aunts and uncles and more cousins and second cousins that I can count. I have so many memories, grandma taking me shopping, teaching me how to play cards, and letting me sleep over and watch scary movies that I wasn't allowed to :) taking me to the movies and did all this in the same taxi for years! When I moved away she always wrote me letters and sent me birthday and Christmas cards with a 20 dollar bill every time. Thank you for being the loving caring grandma that you are. Now you are in heaven with grandpa watching over this amazing family that you made. I love you grandma. "

"There are so many fond memories of my mother, but the one that comes to mind is our vacations at Rocking Horse Ranch with the kids. As soon as we arrived, we dropped the kids off with the arts and crafts lady and head to the bar to toast a vacation much needed! "
