He then moved on to college where he earned his Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 1965.

George Bettyann Annechino were married in 1965 and together they created a loving family with two children, Franklin and Kimberly. George made friends everywhere he went He was often referred to as the "Salt of the Earth," always caring and giving his time and talents to others. Ask George for advice and his response often was, "Did you ask the right questions?" or "Is it logical?" He would guide you to make your own conclusion.

While at Kodak Marketing Education Center, George built the Advanced Technology Division which paved the road for many high-tech products and service support. He was proud of his talented staff of Institutional Designers.

During his time at Kodak, he tried twice to hire Carolyn Ronnenberg, the receptionist at Kodak. Carolyn turned down George's offers. Then, in 2002, George and Carolyn fell in love and married. They spent many summers at Cape Vincent with their beloved chocolate Labs, Otis and Maggie.

George was a lifetime Kiwanis member and a member of Street Machines. He was an avid gun collector, hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy in life came from his family and his dogs. He was especially happy being at Cape Vincent, Otisberg North and his hunting camp, Otisberg South. Some of his favorite music was Merle Haggard, Marty Robbins and John Berry.

George will be dearly missed by all who knew him and always lovingly remembered by his many friends and family.

"Carolyn, George was a very special man and I was privileged to work with him for many years. I remember so many good times, but what really comes to mind is when George knew I didn't like my December b'day and so every July he would take me and several others to Roncone's for my "eggplant parm" and then to Al's for lemon ice. After that we would ride around through the old Italian neighborhood and he had so many stories. I have so many other great memories. Although I haven't seen George is many years, I will never forget him. My sincere condolences to you and the family. Carol (Reddy) Coombe"

"Carolyn and Family: As I shared with you last week, I will always remember George's "huge heart" with the Christmas Luncheons and raising money through candy-jar raffles to purchase toys for less-fortunate kids. He was always there to support my Christmas wish with these collections! I also enjoyed so many laughs with he and BettyAnn - they were a great couple. Carolyn, you were fortunate to have a life with George too. I hope that the family holds on to all the memories that will bring you happiness when you continue to think of George! May he have eternal peace. Love you, my friend!"

"My condolences Carolyn, and to all of George's family and friends. I will always think of him as jovial and warm, and someone you liked to see and be with. He emphasized the expressions of "a big Teddy bear" and a "one of a kind". Since I can't emotionally handle wakes/services, please know that I will be grieving along with all of you."
