GREECE: December 10, 2006 at age 92. He is survived by his beloved wife, Eleanor Vellozzi; children, Frank (Eileen Hunter) Vellozzi, Donna (Robert) Fischetto; grandchildren, Sarah Fischetto, Miranda Rose Fischetto; brothers, Armand Vellozzi, Joseph (Rosetta) Vellozzi of Flushing, NY; several nieces nephews.



History

Frank was retired from Rockefeller Center where he worked in Maintenance. He was a WWII Veteran in the Philipines. He was a member of the VFW and went to the Senior Citizens Center twice a week. He was an avid Bowler and continued to bowl well into his eighties. He was a very social person who enjoyed dancing and playing cards. He loved to go out and be around people. He was known as a jokester. He had a fond love for food. He was a big sports fan, especially cheering for the NY Yankees and he also like Boxing. He was a friendly, gentle and loving guy who people loved to be around.

BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd.) where Frank's visitation will be Wednesday December 13, 2006 2-4 7-9. All are invited to attend Frank's visitation on Thursday at 9 AM at Our Mother of Sorrows Church (5000 Mt. Read Blvd.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
