Ali Seedat
April 2, 1986 - November 9, 2018

ROCHESTER - 32 years old, left this world unexpectedly on November 9th, 2018 at his home in Rochester, New York. Ali was born on April 2nd, 1986 in Brawley, California. He was the fourth child of five of Deborah Faye McKinzie
and Dr. Hassim Ahmed Seedat.

As a young child, Ali was funny, inquisitive and silly. He loved animals, being outdoors and making everyone around him laugh. Ali graduated from Brighton High School in the Class of 2004. He traveled the world and studied abroad in both Lithuania and Australia. He was creative, loved to work with his hands and was a talented welder. However, Ali's greatest accomplishment was being a proud and loving father to his son, Nicolas Ali Seedat, 10 years old.

Ali will be deeply missed by his son Nicolas Seedat, his mother Deborah McKinzie and his siblings Nadia Pratt, Zulaikha Losman, Sulaiman Seedat and Hanifa Cavanna. In Melbourne, Australia Ali's father, Dr. Hassim Seedat is mourning the loss of his son alongside his extended family.

Ali is also survived by his grandmother, Phyllis McKinzie, and his aunt Kimberly Simpson. Other family members mourning his loss include aunts, uncles,
