Additional Information

Catherine was born on April 13, 1927 in Rochester, NY. Her parents were, Dominic and Josephine (Zeppetella) Russo. When growing up, she had two brothers and a sister, Michael, Pete Russo and Mary (Fiasco) Russo. She then met and married her husband, Samuel Virgo. They were married at St. Monica's Church. They had two children, Lorraine (Urbanski) and David Virgo. From her children she became a grandmother to Michael Hendricks. She taught her family that it is important to love like Jesus.

She worked at Carretta Beef for over 25 years. She enjoyed feeding her family and friends. She even had a special Christmas in July Party at her home. Her favorite hobbies were playing cards, entertaining others, traveling especially on cruises and going out to lunch with her friends. She enjoyed cooking so much that her family nicknamed her home, K.V.'s Diner.

Catherine enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Golden Girls, watching and listening to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.

The best way to describe Catherine is that she was warm, loving, kind, considerate of others, she had a sense of humor, she was resilient, never complained and trusted the Lord. She was a loving and supportive grandmother. She wanted to live long enough to see her grandson, Michael get married.

Catherine will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
