Armida touched the lives of family members and countless others through her charity and zest for life. She graduated from East Rochester High School. She volunteered and worked at her church and served as a 10th Ward community leader. Armida worked 15 years as a Senior Court analyst in the Office of Court Administration, NY Seventh Judicial District. As an outstanding cook and gardener, Armida's creativity shined. She enjoyed nothing more than to bake a delicious treat to share with family and friends. Her extensive and well-manicured gardens showcased their beauty for all to see. Her generosity extended to her many friends and friends of her children and grandchildren creating an extended family with whom she enjoyed sharing her loving spirit, food and fellowship. Her Italian heritage also gave her a love of all things Italian. Her family remembers her for her spark, joy, deep love of family, generosity, strong faith, and pearls of wisdom.

The family would like to recognize the outstanding care provided to Armida by the staff at The Hawthorne at St John's Meadows. We deeply thank the staff for its kindness and attention, ensuring that she was comfortable and safe, particularly during these trying COVID times.

"Mrs, Magee was a great neighbor and good friend to my family when we lived on Kislingbury Street in the 10th ward. She was my Den mother when I was in Cub Scouts and I remember the homemade cookies she use to make. I wish to send her family all of my best wishes and hope they remember what a great lady she was. All my condolences . Ray Joseph"
