Toni Optis
December 4, 1923 - January 15, 2021

Toni passed away peacefully on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 97. She was born in Crimea on December 4, 1923. She emigrated to the United States with her husband Nickolai and two children on January 22, 1951. She was a resident of Bronx and Yonkers, NY where they raised their family and eventually retired to Webster, NY. Toni was a strong and fearless woman who had many varied interests.



Toni is predeceased by her husband, Nickolai Optis; son, Alexander Optis; grandson, Brendan Optis. She is survived by her children, Elisabeth "Lisa" (Bob) Maves, of Fairport, NY, Katherine (Greg) Hanno of Dallas, TX, Anya (Bob Lukas) Park, of Charleston, SC Nickolas "Nick" (Christine) Optis, of Fairport, NY; grandchildren, Philippe Maves, Michael B. (Lara) Optis, Jonathan (Michelle) Optis, Kate Marie Optis, Christopher (Kendall) Hanno, Alexander (Lindsay) Hanno, Michael Park, Alexander Park, Nickolas (Lauren Bauerlein) Optis, Jr. Michael A. Optis; great-grandchildren, Chloe Optis, Olivia Optis, Isla Optis, Colton Optis, Magnolia Optis, Nicholas Hanno, Owen Hanno, Madison Optis and many dear friends.



All services were private. Her family appreciates the loving care given to her by the staff at the Highlands at Brighton Memory Lane Unit, especially Troy, Trina, Belinda, Breanna, Iris, Astrid, and Donald. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Highlands at Brighton, 5901 Lac De Ville Blvd., Rochester, NY 14618 in Toni's memory.
