Ann Masi
October 12, 1921 - December 19, 2014

Greece: December 19, 2014. Ann is predeceased by her husband, John A. Masi; brother, Vito DiGennaro; sister, Annette DiGennaro. She is survived by her sons, John Masi, Louis (Karin) Masi, Joseph (Diane) Masi; her daughter, Louise (Jack) Telban; grandchildren, Danny (Caitlin) Masi, Dena (Brian) Young and Julie (Fiance Steve Gambino) Masi, Michael Masi, Joe Masi, Jenelle Masi, John Telban, Matthew Telban, Lauren Telban; great-granddaughters, Caroline, Eveleyn and Eleanor Young; sister Lena Calabrese; brother, Joe DiGennaro; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Special thanks to Jackie Andula for the many years of care.

Ann's visitation will be Monday 4-8 PM at the funeral home (between 390 and LongPond Rd.) Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a time to be announced. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 S. Winton Rd. Rochester, NY 14623 in Ann's memory.

Ann was born on October 12, 1921. She grew up on Whitney Street in Rochester, NY. She graduated from Madison High School in 1939. Ann enjoyed dancing during her youth and met her husband John when he moved next door to her family during her teen years. She referred to John as "the boy in green sweater." They married at St. Francis of Assisi on December 1, 1945. During her adult years, Ann worked at Maynard's Electric for 30 years.

Ann's family was the most important thing in life to her and she enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very quick to say yes to baby- sitting any of her grandchildren. Ann was a Republican and a great cook. She loved gardening and enjoyed tending to her rose garden at home. Ann was a founding member of the Park Ridge Auxiliary and was a member of Belle Beaus Square Dancing Club. She loved dancing with her husband and spending time with her friends every month playing cards.

Ann was known to be courageous, reserved and dedicated. She loved animals, was a caregiver and enjoyed trying new things. Ann was selfless, generous and kind. She will be truly missed by many who loved her.
