"My, oh my. We'll miss our dear Michael. He was the glue that held our family together. Growing up as a twin gives one special insights into relationships and how to be a true friend. A twin myself, I always took for granted that unique closeness until my twin brother died. Unconditional love, trust and loyalty are just some of the traits twins learn from an early age. When my twin brother passed, I realized how rare and special that love is. For those who never experience that special closeness and bond, it's probably difficult to understand how someone can truly be as warm and loving as Michael. Michael exhibited these characteristics every day. It was at the core of who he was. The kind gestures, comforting words and unconditional love came from a very real and special place in his heart. For someone like Michael, there was nothing more important than utilizing that insight into what real love is. It's what often made others think, "Wow, is this guy for real?" Yes, he was. There were no hidden motives, just a love of sharing and giving. And he did it so well. Every day, he gave of himself because he understood that's what love is all about. I could see it every time I was with him. There's a special understanding among twins. Whenever we were together, I felt as close to him as I did to my own twin brother, Michael. He lived in a beautiful place where there is real love and compassion. That love is rare and Michael demonstrated and shared it every day with others. That's why he was so special and that's why he'll be missed by so many who were touched by his beautiful spirit. RIP, brother. You did good."
