"It's hard to put my thoughts into words today. I still can't believe you've passed, I guess I figured you were too strong and optimistic for this to actually happen. I will miss you so much Dennis, I'll never get to drive by and see my buddy on the pourch, I'll never be able to swing in unexpected, just to say hey, how you doing and share a few laughs. Most importantly I'll never get to bond with someone like we did. You've been around forever, almost like a father figure. I'll never forget showing up on your doorstep the day my best friend died, just to tell you I love you and that I finally understood time isn't on our side, and I wanted you to know what you meant to me before you passed. I wish I would have stopped when I saw everyone there, but I guess everyone has there time to say goodbye. So here it is, good bye Dennis, you better believe you'll never be forgotten in this boys life. May you live in peace and comfort, and I can't wait to see you on the other side."

"Dear Beth and the family of Dennis My deepest condolences to all of you during this difficult time. My first time meeting Dennis was at the ribbon cutting at the adult community where Beth worked. I was so impressed by his culinary skills and his passion for making sure everyone was enjoying their food. I will continue to pray for you and know that I am here for you Beth. With much sympathy Jacqueline Bihrle"
