John was called home to heaven on December 24, 2020. His funeral mass was celebrated December 26,2020 at St. John's the Evangelist in Greece, NY at 930am with friends and family present. Burial was at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

John was predeceased by his parents Charles and Mary Brohman and his sister Anne Stein. He is survived by his loving wife Susan (Wilson), his daughters; Charlotte (Kevin) Cleary, Jeannette (John) Lodice, Marian Brohman (fiancé, Jim Sweeting), Linda (fiancé, Jose Santiago), and Colleen (John) Rigby, his grandchildren; Joelle (Kyle), Tyler, Nicholas, Alexis, Damian, Adrian, Jordan, and Johnny, his sister in-laws; Marion (John), Elaine (Frank), Judy (Gord), Barb (Gene), and many nieces and nephews.

John was born March 2,1930 to Charlie and Mary Brohman in Ontario, Canada. He grew up and went to St. Mary's school in Elora, Ontario. After college in Toronto, he relocated to the U.S. He proudly joined the United States Air Force and honorably served his country for 20 years. He was a true patriot and served dutifully through the Korean and Vietnam Wars.

John was married to the love of his life, Susan for 57 years. They had five daughters and eight grandchildren. John loved his family immensely and his family adored and loved him. He was a role model. protector, provider, and the best husband, dad, and grandpa.

John was a man of faith. He was an active member and supporter of St. John's the Evangelist for over 40 years.

He enjoyed working (even up to his last year of life), watching football, hockey, fast cars, spending time with his family, taking trips to Canada, and especially enjoyed his evening cocktails. He loved a good joke and loved socializing.

John was a man of integrity. He was intelligent, quick-witted, fun, and had a love for life. Everyone that met him loved him. He has touched the lives of many and has left this world a better place. He will be missed dearly and will be remembered with great pride and affection.
