At the age of 63 while surrounded by her family, Maria passed suddenly and peacefully. She was a beautiful, loving devoted mother and nonna. She is survived by her children, Carla (Joe) Mancuso Spano; Paul (Valerie) Marsocci their father, Ralph A. Marsocci; grandchildren, Domenic, Juliana, Marco Luca; brother, Alberto (Maria) Iacchetta; sisters-in-law, Anna Joanne Iacchetta, Angelina Cotraccia, Isabella (Anthony) Suero; brothers-in-law, Carl (Anne Marie) and Lorenzo Marsocci; uncle, Berardino (Lucia) Santilli; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Antonio Concetta Iacchetta; brothers, Giuseppe Luigi Iacchetta; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Maryanna and Claudinoro Marsocci; brothers-in-law, Annibale Marsocci, Alfredo Cotraccia, and Luigi Santagata; and sisters-in-law Sylvia and Theresa Marsocci. Maria's family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Peter Knight the entire CVICU staff on 7-1600 at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Maria's visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Thursday at St. Joseph's Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
