September 1, 2013 at age 76. Predeceased by his parents, Samuel Adeline (Migliore) Manuele; brother-in-law, Albert Toal, Jr. Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Sharon (McMahon) Manuele; children, Paul (Laura) Manuele of NYC Lenore (Tom) Stitt of Chicago; grandchildren, Dylan Esme Manuele; sister, Jean Toal; brother-in-law sister-in-law, Janice (Samuel) Montondo Richard (Helen "Peg") Lane; nieces nephews, Kathleen Jim LaValley, Albert Linda Toal, Timothy Sue Toal, Wendy Roets, Kathryn Blake Avery, Jeremy Toal, Juanne Mike Conners, Dale Ellen Montondo, Ray Amy Montondo, Rebecca Montondo Mike Thornton, Karen David Woodworth, Nancy Lane Mark Obbie, David Diane Lane, Judy Lane Daniel Hauben. Born in Rochester, NY, on July 4, 1937, Jim graduated from Charlotte High School in 1955 and Adelphi University in 1962. He was in the 2nd Infantry Division of the U.S. Army and qualified as an Expert rifleman. He began his career as an auditor for Peat Marwick Mitchell. He was an accountant for Eastman Kodak in the Research Labs from 1967 until his retirement in 1991. Jim enjoyed talk radio, swimming and relaxing on his front porch. A proud recycler and avid reader of Consumer Reports, he was interested in finance and current events. He volunteered for many years at his church, Holy Name of Jesus, and the Women's Care Center. Above all else, Jim loved God, his country and his family and friends.



Visitation will be 2-4 7-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Jim's funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Church, St. Martin's Way. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 St. Martin's Way, Rochester, NY 14616 or Women's Care Center, 3252 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612 in Jim's memory.
